Abstract

ABSTRACT
Translation is a very urgent especially in this era of globalization because the progress of a country would be difficult to follow, by the country in need without understanding the language. Therefore it is necessarry translation Students as future generations are expected to have the ability to translate capable of transfering German-language information into Indonesian. The research accounts the process in detail and the improvement results of the students' ability to translate from German language text to Indonesian through Cooperative Learning strategy of Think Talk Write at the German Language Study Program, Faculty of Languages and Literature, Makassar State University . The research is action research and was conducted in August 2016 - December 2016. This action research refened to Kemmis and Mc.Taggart's concept consisted of four phases: Planning, Action, Obseruation and Reflection. The data were collected qualitatively, (observation and field notes) and quantitatively (pre-test and post-test)-
