Abstract

Abstract
The aim of this research is to determine the process and the results of students improving Germany writing ability at Germany Study Program Makassar State University. This study is a class action research developed by Kemmis and Mc.Taggart with the spiral model, three cycle and four phases: planning, action, observation and retlection. The datas was collected with qualitative and quantitatif methodology. Qualitatif data conducted by observation, field note of the researcher and fotos documentation. Meanwhile, for quantitif data is gathered by test (the pretest, the
evaluation of group discussion cyclel, cycle 2, cycle 3 and post-test). The results of this research showed that there was a significant increase in the ability of students in Germarny descriptive writing after attending the subject of Albeit Am Text through task based learning approach. Based on the test results of students are; organization, linguistic (grammar and vocabulary), mechanic, showed that the pre test results is 45,66,cycle I is 58.5, cycle 2 = 74,5, cycle 3 is 86,33, and post-test results = 88,66. The study conducted that the students ability in descriptive writing can be improved through based learning approach.
